The article “AI-Based Predictive Modelling of the Onset and Progression of Dementia” was officially published by MDPI on “Smart Cities” an international, scientific, peer-reviewed, open access journal on the science and technology of smart cities.

Understanding the complex and multifactorial causes of dementia is still an unmet goal in dementia research. The collection of behaviour and medical data is therefore a key part of the LETHE project and requirement for personalised and smart interventions. The LETHE project aims to leverage large multidimensional data about individual behaviours, lifestyle, health, and digital biomarkers on a previously unprecedented scale.

Sten Hanke, Markus Bödenler, Bernhard Neumayer for FH JOANNEUM, Francesca Mangialasche for Karolinska Institutet, Tiia Ngandu Finnish Institute for Health and Welfare, Patrizia Mecocci for Università degli Studi di Perugia and Elisabeth Stögmann for Medical University of Vienna have contributed to the publication.
